Avon Township, Lorain County, Ohio

Map to Location

On the shore of Lake Erie just west of the end of Route 83. The earliest date on a stone is that of Edmund Towner, 1822, in his 22nd year. Joseph Moore, Revolutionary War veteran, was buried here in 1846. In 1882 the Folger family received $10.00 for additional land sold to the Trustees of Avon Township for the entrance to the cemetery from the Lake Road.
